The Cost of Stuck â Why Stillness Isnât Always Strategy

âWhatâs up, Movers! Itâs Dr. Mikeâhere to help you master the right moves, so you can multiply your momentum.â
Letâs lock in and level upâitâs Monday, and youâre made for more.

This Weekâs Focus: The Cost of Stuck
Letâs be realâsome people arenât burned out, theyâre just stuck in cycles that no longer match their assignment.
Hereâs the truth: Stillness without strategy becomes stagnation. And stuck seasons donât just steal timeâthey quietly drain confidence, creativity, and clarity.
This week, I want you to challenge the comfort of âwaitingâ and ask yourself this:
Is this pause purposefulâor am I postponing progress?

LITTLE-KNOWN FACT:
When the Titanic struck the iceberg, it wasnât just bad luckâit was a breakdown in momentum management. The ship had time to pivot but failed to adjust quickly enough.
Delay is expensive. Sometimes the damage isnât from impactâitâs from indecision.

Stuck isnât a locationâitâs a decision.
Every day you stay idle in fear, youâre choosing to stay behind.

Myth: âIf Iâm still, Iâm safe.â
Truth: Safety is a strategyânot a stall. Sometimes stillness is just dressed-up fear.

YOUR MOVE THIS WEEK: Reassess Your Stuck Spot
Letâs turn self-awareness into self-correction:
-
Name your stuck place â Where have you paused too long?
-
Name the fear behind it â Is it fear of failure, rejection, or not being enough?
-
Name the next right move â Not a big leap. Just a step that disrupts the pause.
Stuck isnât always externalâitâs often internal.
Change the belief, and youâll change the movement.

đ§ Mental & Physical Wellness:
Unprocessed thoughts become physical tension.
That âheavinessâ in your chest? That foggy brain? Often itâs stuck emotional energy.
Try this daily:
-
10 minutes of movement-based journaling (write while pacing, stretching, or walking)
-
Ask: Whatâs not moving in meâand why?
đ Senior Care Insight:
In home care, routine should never replace relationship.
If a caregiver is going through the motions without engagement, the client will feel neglectedâeven if all tasks are completed.
Shift tip: Add a 3-minute âconnection momentâ to every visit. A question, a compliment, a prayerâsomething that moves the soul, not just the schedule.

THINK ON THIS:
âSometimes we wait on a move from God, when God is waiting on a move from us.â

This week, donât just push throughâpull yourself forward with intention.

Disrupt the delay.
Momentum comes when you stop waiting and start walking.
Until next weekâŠ
