This Week's Pulse
You can be busy all day and still feel as though you made little progress. Sometimes the problem isnât a lack of time; itâs attention being divided among too many things.

Protect What Deserves Your Attention
Your attention influences the quality of your decisions, relationships, and work. When it is constantly interrupted, even important tasks can become harder to complete.
Start by identifying what deserves your best focus. Give important work a dedicated block of time, silence unnecessary notifications, and be present when someone needs your attention. You donât have to respond to everything immediately.
The goal isnât to give everything your attention. Itâs to give the right things your attention.
Worth Your 60 Seconds
Before starting your day, ask yourself:
âIf I could give my full attention to only three things today, what would make the biggest difference?â
Write them down. Let those priorities guide your choices.
Mic Drop
Where your attention goes, your life receives your energy.
Modern Life
Our devices make it easier to stay connected, but constant connection can make focused attention harder to maintain. Try creating small periods of intentional disconnectionâduring meals, important conversations, or focused work.
Quick Shifts
Leadership: Give people your full attention when they speak. Listening without distraction builds trust.
Business: Identify the task that moves your work forward most, and protect time to complete it.
Money: Give your finances regular attention. A brief weekly review can help you notice spending patterns before they become bigger concerns.
Relationships: Put the phone away during meaningful conversations. Presence communicates value.
Personal Growth: Notice what repeatedly pulls your attention away from your goals, then make one change to reduce that distraction.
Opportunty Spotlight:
Become a Better Question-Asker
An opportunity may be hiding inside a problem you keep noticing. Instead of dismissing it, ask: Who else experiences this, and what practical solution could help? Curiosity can turn everyday frustrations into ideas worth exploring.
